However, our holiday will start with 5 days of R&R at a lovely hotel on the beach in Grand Case. The only 'duty' we've been given so far is to each think of, and cook a meal for 6 which will then go in the freezer of the Ithaka, before we leave port. Our choice?... a good ol' shepherd's pie (BritLadies, I hope you're proud of me) and Cod with a mild curry sauce. Apparently, Grand Case is the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean, so we should have no problem in finding the right ingredients (as if I would know the difference.) Only three and a half more days to go now!
p.s. tried on my old bathing suits yesterday....aaarrrrrggghhhh!!!!

ReplyDeleteI am proud of you for taking a cottage pie, would be more proud if you were taking scones but I can't imagine that freezing jam goes well and it may start the never ending argument of wether jam or cream should go on first! xx
